Accomplishments:

  • Launched WIOA for Franklin County: Led the implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for Franklin County, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while improving workforce services.

  • Developed the Achieve More & Prosper (AMP) Program: Created an innovative program for youth with barriers to education and employment by braiding federal funds from the U.S. Department of Labor (WIOA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (TANF). This was the first program of its kind to combine these funding sources for a holistic youth support system.

  • Career Exploration Program for Foster Youth: Designed a unique program to help foster youth explore career opportunities, providing mentorship, resources, and hands-on experiences to guide their career paths.

  • Youth Entrepreneurship Program: Launched a program that taught youth how to develop websites and apps, fostering entrepreneurial skills and digital literacy for future business ventures.
